The organisers behind Oslo Art Weekend

After a year off, Oslo Art Weekend is finally back 28 - 31 May. This year’s edition marks a new chapter for the festival since it was started in 2016.
Oslo Art Guide is a free guide to Oslo’s contemporary art scene that promotes exhibitions and events from venues across the city on a weekly basis. The year-round work of Oslo Art Guide is continued with Oslo Art Weekend, when the venues come together to put on the best art experiences in the city over the course of one weekend.
This year’s edition is organized by an Oslo Art Weekend-team in collaboration with a steering committee made up of representatives from: Astrup Fearnley Museet, Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, MUNCH, the National Museum, OSL Contemporary, Podium, and Salgshallen gallery.
This year’s team is led by Project Manager Karen Rosness (Director of Oslo Art Guide), Program Manager Frida Rusnak, Communications Officer Rebekka Anstem, and Coordinator Victoria Alstrup.
The festival is made possible through collaboration. Together, the team, the steering committee, and all participating venues are working to create the biggest edition of Oslo Art Weekend to date in May 2026.
Save the dates 28–31 May, and stay tuned for the full program launch in March. Until then you can visit osloartguide.no for weekly updates on exhibitions and events in Oslo.
